Pink Sings Adam Lambert’s ‘Whataya Want From Me’

Tweets started coming in last night that PINK sang Adam Lambert’s ‘Whataya Want From Me‘ during her concert at the Rhein Energy Stadium in Cologne, Germany (May 29) and that she said nice things about Adam. The song was well-received by her fans and supposedly the whole stadium sang along with her. I guess it helps that Adam’s ‘Whataya Want From Me‘ is currently amongst the Top 10 on German charts.

If you don’t know by now then you must be a newbie fan of Adam’s – the song ‘Whataya Want From Me‘ is actually written by Pink , Max Martin and Johan Shellback. She decided against recording it for her latest album Funhouse, and instead passed it to Adam to record for his debut album For Your Entertainment.

Adam Lambert’s ‘Whataya Want From Me’ on American Idol! (And Who Was Eliminated!)

Adam Lambert mentored the Top 9 and performed a super laser-and-smoke rendition of Whataya Want From Me on the American Idol Results Show this morning (Singapore time)!
I have a small confession – while I, like any self-respecting Glambert, dutifully caught Adam’s mentorship on Idol twice last night, I was not able to catch the ‘live’ telecast of the American Idol Results Show this morning online. BUT I have since watched Adam’s performance online, thanks to beautiful fellow Glamberts (see video below) who uploaded the performance within the hour it was broadcasted!

Adam in River Rock Concert, Vancover Canada
As we all know by now, Adam Lambert will be mentoring the American Idol 9 contestants next week (if you don’t, perhaps you should read the previous blog post first: click HERE). Even as we continue to speculate on the THEME of next week and how Adam will be helping these extremely boring group of contestants to jazz it up and SPARKLE… the more important question is WHEN and WHERE can we catch the 2 episodes of American Idol even before they are shown on Channel 5 (one of our free-to-air channel) and Star World cable (pay-tv) channel 18.

Adam Lambert News: Tweet Storm in Germany And More Interviews (Asking The Same Old Questions!)

Still on his international album promo tour, Adam Lambert left the United Kingdom yesterday after spending a week there. Today, he is in Germany, and after the umpteenth round of interviews with interviewers asking the same set of questions, he went into a tweet (twat) storm and tweeted his frustrations:
@adamlambert: Just did my third German interview where I was told that I have said “I’m the male Lady Gaga”. Lol I would never say that. I’m Adam Lambert
Of course Im a fan and have the highest respect for her and there some theatrical sensibilities that we share- but we are different people.
I’m sure she would agree.
More redundant questions that can be put to rest: yes it was amazing meeting Madonna. No I wasn’t asked to be Queen’s new frontman.
Aaaaand yes, I kissed Kesha. It was fun. I hope future interviewers review these tweets. I’d not, they’re twats. Hahah.
Don’t get me wrong- I actually really enjoy being interviewed. I’m not upset- just hoping that by tweeting, this questions will fade.

Seems that Adam was a tad upset with the redundant and repetitive questions! Know of any other questions that keep cropping up? (Leave a comment below!)

Adam’s STRIPPED Performances on iheartradio

Singapore Glamberts, the last few weeks have been a tumultuous whirlwind for us as we anticipated and then welcomed Adam to Singapore! From the stress of trying to obtain a ticket to his showcase to queuing up for hours for his autograph, we have missed lots of great performances of Adam that came out in the Internet in the last few weeks.
One such collection would be Adam’s STRIPPED down performances for iheartradio. Unfortunately, not all of the iheartradio performances are available on YouTube. For ALL of Adam’s performances, visit iheartradio! Enjoy!

Adam At Mardi Gras… Those Spikes… That Cod Piece!

Adam was a the closing act for Sydney’s annual Mardi Gras and what a way to close the festivities with a SUPER BANG!
Adam sang For Your Entertainment and was accompanied by female, male, and alien drag queens dancer on stage. He wore super tight latex (?) pants with a bling up glam up cod piece along with his fabulous jacket with the wonderfully large spikes that he wore for his album shoot.
As usual, Adam turned in a fabulous performance and the audience just wanted more of him!

Autograph Session on 13th March 2010
The autograph session is only opened to fans with a copy of Adam’s For Your Entertainment Deluxe Edition. One copy per fan only.
Where would this autograph session be held? It will be held in Bugis Junction! Yes, Bugis Junction! This place is packed to the gills even on a regularly Saturday! I really don’t understand why this venue and also think that the time that they have allotted to this event is unrealistic — only ONE hour??? They expect Adam to sign and meet hundreds of his fans in an hour in super-packed and popular mall on a weekend… this event will be a mess!
Prepare to QUEUE!

I am very very very estatic with the enthusiastic and almost-maniac response I have been receiving from all the Glamberts in Singapore!
Let’s all ROCK it out for Adam and let him have a memorable time in Singapore! We need to show Adam that Singapore LOVES him and that he has LOTS of fans here who would buy tickets to his concert when he has one here next year! (Yes, I truly believe that Adam will be BACK in Singapore by next year with a full-fledge concert at hand!)
So, whether it is going to the airport to welcome him to Singapore, or trying to catch a glimpse of him at MediaCorp; whether its buying multiple copies of his deluxe edition album or tuning in to the radio to try to win those tickets to his showcase; whether its attending his autograph session… let’s ALL try to turn up for Adam and show him our love for his music!
Bring your photos of him, bring your posters, bring your gifts… but most importantly, bring your LOVE!
