With bated breathe we waited for the magazine.

After American Idol Season 8 officially ended, rumours have been flying around on Adam being the Coverboy of the Rolling Stone Magazine. And after weeks of guessing and hints from various sources, we finally got the confirmation from Adam that he is indeed being featured!

Adam said to the press at the Young Hollywood Awards:  “With the rolling stone cover I am going to be talking about a lot of things that people have had questions about so…I think that will be nice I think we can move forward and well all look forward to the album together.”

So without further ado, here’s the highlights of the Magazine!

Quotes from the Article:

“Right after the finale, I almost started talking about it to the reporters, but I thought, ‘I’m going to wait for Rolling Stone, that will be cooler.’ I didn’t want the Clay Aiken thing and the celebrity-magazine bullshit. I need to be able to explain myself in context. I’m proud of my sexuality. I embrace it. It’s just another part of me.”

“I loved it this season when the girls went crazy for me,” he says. “As far as I’m concerned, it’s all hot.”

“I finally checked into my self-worth for the first time in my life, and the fact that it coincided with Idol is so sweet,” he says. “I mean, I still have moments where I think, ‘Oh, my skin is terrible, and I’m a little fat — I should really go to the gym more.’ But for the most part, when I look in the mirror now, I finally see somebody who can do something cool.”

I must say that this article contains much more than anyone would have expected. And for some of us fans out there, MAY need time disgesting. But from my standpoint, Adam has intelligently placed himself in a situation where he could answer the questions of the public without his words being manipulated by the press. Yes! Some of the information released in the magazine may be extremely shocking to the public. But I sincerely believe that Adam is being TRUE to himself and that is what we all LOVE about him. From another standpoint, I think us as fans should be THANKFUL that these information had come from Adam himself and not by the press who would definately make and manipulate all these exciting parts of Adam’s life into a BIG saga.

Like what Adam, Questions that needed to be answered has been answered and we can now move on and FOCUS on what Adam is trying to bring to this ‘mad’ world. His music, creativity, charisma and charm.

What are your thoughts fellow SG Glamberts?

Cheers! Serene
