Adam’s Meet&Greet And Showcase!

A million thanks to Ripplevox and Starhub… I won pair of VIP Meet & Greet passes to meet Adam during soundcheck and to also be privy to the soundcheck rehearsal!
YES! I am going to head down to Universal Studios soon to meet with Adam, to have him autograph his deluxe edition CD and a poster; and to take a picture with me! Ten very very lucky Glamberts are given this VIP session with Adam which will end with us sitting down to listen to his soundcheck.

Adam is on his way to Singapore!

His flight, QF9, will be arriving earlier at 12.30am and he will be collecting his luggage and exiting at BELT 18 in Terminal 1.
So all Singapore fans who are coming to the Airport to welcome him… please note these details:
- Flight: QF9
- Arriving: 12.30am, 11 March 2010
- At: Terminal 1
- MEET: The EXIT OF BELT 18
- TIME: 11.30pm
Please note that the timing of Adam’s arrival might change at any time should the delay is shorter than announced or if the delay is longer than expected. So please continue to monitor our Twitter for the latest news update!

Final Update
As most of you would know by now… we didn’t manage to meet Adam at the airport. We were not able to welcome Adam to Singapore. Adam and his entourage were taken out of the airport via a VIP exit and bypassed all of his fans who were waiting outside for him.
While it would be lying to say that we were not disappointed with this outcome, one nice thing that has happened is the meeting up of lots of the Glamberts in Singapore. It was really fun to meet them face-to-face and to really get to know them.
Hopefully we have better luck in meeting Adam in the next few days!

Feeling The Stress… And Disappointment?

If you have been following my personal twitter you would realise that I have been battling a serious bout of food poisoning since Sunday. Perhaps its the illness, perhaps its the stress from getting everything ready (banner, badges, information etc) for Adam’s arrival in Singapore… but this week I am starting to feel the stress and maybe, the inevitable disappointment?
Disappointment in Adam Lambert? NEVER! But disappointment in the possibility that after all my efforts, after all the investment of my time, attention, and energy to promote Adam in Singapore; after hoping and dreaming of meeting Adam in person after more than a year… I might actually NOT be able to see him at all! Be it at his showcase, his Meet & Greet and during his Autograph Session.
The intangible and uncertain possibility of participation in all these events is not building up any excitement in me BUT instead, is draining me and pulling me down. I know entitlement is not sexy and I am not demanding that I should be given access to all these events.
But I really starting to dislike the way of gaining access to these events – the lucky draw, the call-in competitions, the sms competitions etc. The waiting, the anticipation and crashed hopes… its getting very tiring (for me).
Perhaps I am feeling this only because I am under the weather… but I think many die-hard fans of Adam are also feeling the same stresses and disappointments too.
*Sigh* Good Luck to ALL! Love you and off course, Adam!
No More Lucky Draw Tickets!

Guys, please note that the lucky draw tickets to Adam’s showcase this Friday (12th March 2010) are limited to the first 2,000 copies of his Deluxe Edition! ALL new stock of the Deluxe Edition from henceforth do NOT come with the lucky draw tickets!
But there is no need to despair. Apart from HMV stores, many other major CD stores still have stock of the old batch which comes with the lucky draw tickets.

Adam At Mardi Gras… Those Spikes… That Cod Piece!

Adam was a the closing act for Sydney’s annual Mardi Gras and what a way to close the festivities with a SUPER BANG!
Adam sang For Your Entertainment and was accompanied by female, male, and alien drag queens dancer on stage. He wore super tight latex (?) pants with a bling up glam up cod piece along with his fabulous jacket with the wonderfully large spikes that he wore for his album shoot.
As usual, Adam turned in a fabulous performance and the audience just wanted more of him!

Adam’s For Your Entertainment Deluxe Edition is NOW available in all major CD stores in Singapore. Remember to get your copy today to stand a chance to win a ticket to Adam’s showcase in Singapore on the 12th March 2010.
The Deluxe Edition includes bonus tracks such as “Master Plan”, “Down the Rabbit Hole” and “Voodoo”. Autograph Session on 13th March 2010
The autograph session is only opened to fans with a copy of Adam’s For Your Entertainment Deluxe Edition. One copy per fan only.
Where would this autograph session be held? It will be held in Bugis Junction! Yes, Bugis Junction! This place is packed to the gills even on a regularly Saturday! I really don’t understand why this venue and also think that the time that they have allotted to this event is unrealistic — only ONE hour??? They expect Adam to sign and meet hundreds of his fans in an hour in super-packed and popular mall on a weekend… this event will be a mess!
